Schedule an initial free consultation to get started. If you’re eventually determined to be a good candidate for ketamine infusion therapy, expect to be instructed to do the following on the day of your infusion: fill out all necessary forms, wear comfortable clothing that allow Avesta staff to access your arms (for blood pressure and IV start) and your chest (for ECG lead placements), only eat up to 6 hours in advance of the treatment, have clear liquids (water, black coffee, plain tea, or apple juice) up to 2 hours prior to the treatment, and arrange for a ride home from the clinic.

Once in the office, the staff at Avesta Ketamine and Wellness first check a set of baseline vital signs such as your blood pressure, heart rate, oxygenation, and your weight. They then start an intravenous (IV) line and begin the infusion, which takes about 45-60 minutes. During this time they keep the environment private, quiet, and relaxing while monitoring you intermittently throughout the infusion. You may listen to your own choice of soothing music.
